A lifelong resident of Swartz Creek & 1992 Graduate from Swartz Creek Schools, Pastor Jason found Duffield Methodist Church in the fall of 2017. After his second week attending Duffield, he joined the Church Choir & within a month joined the Church as a Professing Member. Pastor Jason completed The Billy Graham School of Evangelism and a course of study with an Orthodox Priest at a local Christian Orthodox Church before becoming an Independently Ordained Minister of the Gospel in May of 2018, through the National Association of Christian Ministers. His confirmation ceremony was held in Okemos, Michigan later that spring. He along with help from his family started Duffield's Annual Car & Bike show in July 2018. Pastor Jason & his lovely wife Paulette were married in our Church on October 26th 2018. In 2019, He was asked to become the Lay Leader for our Church, holding a position on all boards. In a rare move, on July 1st 2020, Jason became our Pastor. He has great plans for the future of Duffield Methodist Church. Pastor Jason's hobbies include his 2003 Chevrolet Corvette, going to and hosting car shows, Music, DJ equipment, playing retro / classic arcade games, pinball, travel, and spending time with his family
